Job Description

Main Purpose:

Responsible for building and leading an outstanding performing team to ensure that they:

• Achieve set goals
• Execute brand standards
• Deliver operational excellence
• Adhere to financial targets

Motivate & coach the team to execute strong signature service

The SM provides the highest level of customer experience and delivers the vision of the brand, supporting and mentoring the ASM and the store team to their personal career development.

Main tasks / responsibilities:

Performance management

• Develop topline & manage profitability
• Track, manage & analyze KPIs and manage reporting
• Lead corrective action when necessary

Customer service

• Supervise that the execution of marketing activations and VM guidelines are properly managed to ensure Brand and store standards 
• Act as a role model and ensure his managers and team members understand customer profiles and deliver outstanding customer shopping experience

Operations

• Ensure the right inventory level to provide the best shopping experience
• Oversees activities to ensure building safety, health & safety measures are met
• Work on the planning to have the optimal floor coverage
• Ensure company policies and SOP Excellence, are understood and fully applied

• Manage the resources to keep operating expenses under control and influence staff Opex to reach the targets

Recruitment & training

• Recruit the team with the support of Talent acquisition, HRBP, District Manager
• Build & coach to have an expert team, with the support of the Training Champion, on best-in-class customer service & product expertise
• Motivate & coach the team to achieve set goals; lead KPIs animation
• Actively identify underperformers, at first through individual KPI management, to put appropriate action plan
• Identify talents to provide individual development plan with the support of DM & HRBP
• Have ongoing succession plan

Qualifications

• Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset to identify and seize opportunities
• Appeal for performance products and their benefits
• High-end sports brands experience, performance product knowledge, footwear focus, community engagement
• Solid retail expertise with Strong management experience: >3 yrs, >10 HC, turnover >€2M
