Our services cover the entire life cycle of the project implementation.

Currently, we are bidding for Metro Rail projects across India. The position of Sr. Traction Expert  is the key position in these BIDs.

Missions/Main Duties

• Design Review & Approval: Review and approve designs and technical specifications for traction power supply systems (include substations, Overhead Equipment (OHE)/Third rail systems, and associated components).
• System Analysis & Optimization: Analyze traction system design, load assessment, and power flow to ensure reliability, efficiency, and optimal energy use.
• Installation Supervision: Oversee the installation and integration of traction components, ensuring adherence to project requirements, standards, and timelines.
• Interface Coordination: Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams (signaling, power supply, rolling stock, SCADA, civil) to ensure seamless system integration.
• Testing & Commissioning: Lead and supervise traction system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting to ensure safe and successful commissioning.
• Quality & Safety Assurance: Ensure all traction works comply with quality assurance and safety protocols, as well as local and international standards.
• Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and review technical documents, construction drawings, test reports, progress updates, and handover documentation.
• Contractor/Vendor Management: Review contractor/vendor submissions, manage interfaces, and assess compliance of supplied equipment and works.
• Problem Resolution: Provide technical solutions for traction system issues during design, installation, and operation stages.
• Training & Guidance: Train and mentor project staff and O&M teams in operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of traction power equipment.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical codes, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Continuous Improvement: Propose and implement enhancements to traction system design, technology, and methodologies for better performance and safety.

Profile/Skills

• Graduate in Electrical Engineering 
• minimum 20 years of experience in railways or railway related industry.
• minimum 5 years’ experience in urban rail based passenger carrying system
