What success looks like in this role:

We are seeking a Sr Tech Field Engineer to join our team and provide expert onsite technical support to large and complex client environments across Australia. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on professional who thrives in customer-facing roles and enjoys working with a wide range of technologies.

What You'll Do

As a Field Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring our clients' systems and infrastructure operate at peak performance. Your responsibilities will include:

• Installing, repairing, and maintaining hardware and software solutions at client sites

• Performing server and storage break-fix support, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance

• Managing onsite service activities from start to finish, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues

• Conducting installations, upgrades, and system maintenance in customer environments

• Utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and technical expertise to resolve complex technical challenges

• Providing technical guidance and support to fellow engineers and team members

• Identifying recurring issues and recommending process and service improvements

• Maintaining accurate documentation, reporting, and service records

• Building strong customer relationships through exceptional service delivery and communication

You will be successful in this role if you have:

✔ Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Field Engineering, Desktop Support, Infrastructure Support, or a related technical role

✔ Experience with hardware maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and customer-facing technical support

✔ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

✔ Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a broader technical team

✔ Excellent communication and customer service skills

✔ Technical certification or Associate Degree preferred

Mandatory Requirements:

Australian Citizenship

Active Australian Security Clearance (Baseline or NV1) is required
