Job Description

As Data Development Vendor Senior Analyst, this role is responsible for the following:

 

 

- Support the development and implementation of the Master Data Governance (MDG) solution as part of the S4 Hana ERP rollout. Working across domains and feeding in strategy as well as advise to the project whilst keeping the technical vision of master data across other parallel deployment projects.

- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders in the business to gather requirements, define data standards, and ensure data quality.

- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the MDG team, and Vedor data council, ensuring the successful execution of data management initiatives.

- Utilize your SAP expertise to design and configure MDG processes to align with business needs.

- Work with partner resources and potentially manage direct and indirect reports within the MDG team.

- Act as a Vendor subject matter expert in SAP MDG and related technologies, offering insights and recommendations to optimize data management processes.

- Play a vital role in data delivery for new S4 Hana ERP solutions, ensuring data consistency and integrity.

- Identify and mitigate risks associated with data management, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

- Continuously monitor and evaluate the MDM solution's performance, making necessary improvements and adjustments.

 

- Proven experience within the BP domain inclusive of a S4 deployment,  experience in SAP MDG or other Master Data Management (MDM) technologies. Experience and multiple deployment of master data projects where a lead position has been held.

- In-depth knowledge of SAP systems and functional areas of SCM, or as well as knowledge of impact to other data areas.

- Familiarity with SAP S4 Hana and ERP solutions is highly desirable.

- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on data accuracy, consistency, and quality.

- Ability to work collaboratively with partner resources and business stakeholders.

- Project management experience is a plus.

- SAP certification is an advantage.

- Open minded approach to problem solving and design a must.

 

Education & Professional Qualifications

 

College Degree, preferably in a technical field

 

Knowledge / Experience

 

• Considerable experience (5+ years) of Master Data Management or Data Architecture (including relevant collaboration experience) spanning multiple domains in a complex multi-national corporate environment.
• Envision, model and optimize complex yet efficient business processes, data and workflows.
• Demonstrated Leadership skills, with independence and proven management experience within a matrix organization
• Background in the BI, Information, Data, Analytics space
• Strong Business Acumen
• Experience with Solutions Architecture, Applications portfolio management
• Stakeholder Relationship Management of global leaders
