Sr. Procurement Manager

At Layup Parts, we're developing the technology that will build the future.  We're a manufacturing technology company replacing months of lead time with days, using proprietary software, automation, and advanced manufacturing systems built for speed. Our customers are inventing what's next, in aerospace, defense, robotics, and beyond. To keep up with them, manufacturing has to change. That's what we're building.  Our procurement team has two primary goals:   Production never stops due to a procurement issue. Procurement is a helpful resource for the rest of the company (NOT a hindrance) This role will work closely with the COO, CEO, and Business Operations team members. The primary goal of this role will be to build up procurement internal systems (budgeting, purchase approval, direct demand planning, enhanced inventory management, team organization into procurement categories), establishing relationships with legacy suppliers, establishing a broader procurement strategy, and executing day to day procurement transactions.    As an early-stage startup, we’re looking for someone who can further the strategic while addressing the tactical. You are a person who can maintain day-to-day operations while developing programs and strategies for six months, 1 year, or 3 years in the future. Pay, title, and job description are flexible.
