Director / Sr Director of Growth

πŸ“ Location: Remote in the US | NYC-based team members can work hybrid

About the Company

Opus is building the modern training and operations platform for frontline teams. Starting with multi-unit restaurants and expanding across the broader service industry, Opus helps businesses train, engage, and support the people doing the work on the front lines.

The company has already built strong restaurant-market traction, a product customers genuinely love, and a demand engine that works. Opus is profitable, growing quickly, moving upmarket, and expanding into new verticals β€” creating the rare opportunity to join a company with real momentum while there is still a lot left to build.

Opus brings together service-industry veterans and technology professionals around one mission: create a world where every frontline worker has a good job.

About the Role

Opus has strong momentum across the restaurant and service industry, built on authentic community presence, a trusted brand, and a product customers love. The demand engine is already working across inbound, organic, events, content, referrals, partnerships, and paid channels. Now, as Opus moves further upmarket and expands into new verticals, we’re looking for a leader who can add the strategic campaign layer needed to make Enterprise growth more coordinated, predictable, and repeatable.

As our Director / Senior Director of Growth Marketing, you'll own the demand generation strategy and execution system that drives qualified pipeline across Opus's segments. You'll lead campaign planning, forecasting, budget allocation, and Enterprise ABM strategy, partnering closely with Sales and RevOps to determine where to focus and how to move priority accounts through the funnel.

This is not a rebuild or rip-and-replace role. You'll inherit strong infrastructure, meaningful data, established channels, and a small team. We’re looking for a high-expertise player-coach who can set the strategy, develop the team, and stay close enough to the work to know what’s working, what isn’t, and where to adjust.

Responsibilities

Own the Demand Gen Strategy and Plan

  • Own the quarterly demand generation plan and budget, including channel allocation, campaign sequencing, and forecasting

  • Translate pipeline and revenue goals into actionable demand plans across Opus's customer segments

  • Lead integrated campaigns across paid, organic, content, events, email, partnerships/referrals, and other channels

  • Build greater rigor into pipeline forecasting: understand what inputs drive outcomes, flag variance early, and adjust before gaps become misses

  • Partner with RevOps to maintain reporting that connects marketing activity to qualified pipeline and revenue outcomes

  • Balance near-term pipeline goals with longer-term brand and market-building opportunities

Lead ABM strategy for Enterprise

  • Own and evolve the Enterprise ABM strategy across a well-defined universe of target accounts

  • Prioritize and tier strategic accounts based on fit, opportunity, intent, and business priorities

  • Design multi-touch programs across content, paid, events, brand, and other channels to deepen engagement within priority accounts

  • Partner closely with Sales on account strategy, pipeline priorities, deal-stage engagement, and follow-up

  • Track target-account engagement and penetration, and use those signals to refine where Marketing invests

Manage and Develop the Growth Team

  • Directly manage and develop the Growth Lead and Events & Partnerships Manager

  • Set clear priorities, provide thoughtful coaching, and create accountability around outcomes

  • Establish a simple operating cadence that keeps the team aligned, learning, and moving quickly

  • Stay close enough to execution to coach effectively without becoming the bottleneck

Requirements

  • 8+ years of B2B demand generation, growth, or revenue marketing experience, ideally in a sales-led SaaS environment

  • Proven ownership of qualified pipeline and revenue outcomes β€” you can point to specific programs or periods where Marketing materially influenced or sourced pipeline, not just MQL volume

  • Meaningful Enterprise ABM experience, including account prioritization/tiering and coordinated Sales + Marketing programs

  • Experience managing demand across multiple customer segments or motions, including both scalable inbound programs and more targeted Enterprise campaigns

  • Multi-channel fluency across areas such as content, paid, email, events, organic, partnerships/referrals, and field programs

  • Strong partnership with Sales and RevOps, with comfort discussing pipeline gaps, funnel conversion, attribution, forecasting, and account strategy

  • Experience managing and developing a small team, agencies, and/or contractors

  • Strong strategic and creative judgment β€” understands that effective demand generation includes brand, customer experience, events, and storytelling, not just performance optimization

  • Comfortable operating as a player-coach in a lean environment: strategic enough to set direction and hands-on enough to stay close to the work

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in vertical SaaS, particularly businesses serving multi-location or frontline-heavy industries

  • Experience marketing to restaurant, hospitality, wellness, fitness, retail, home services, or other service-industry customers

  • Experience helping a B2B SaaS company move upmarket or build a more sophisticated Enterprise motion

  • Experience incorporating events, field marketing, or community into a broader demand strategy

  • Familiarity with Attio, HubSpot, or similar CRM / attribution tools

  • Experience with partnerships or referral-led demand programs is a plus

Benefits

  • 4 weeks paid time off

  • 14 weeks paid parental

  • Full Medical, Dental, and Vision

  • FSA and Commuter benefits

  • Yearly wellness stipend

  • Mobile phone stipend
