Specialty Leasing & Brand Partnerships Associate
About this role
Kimco Realty Corp., North America's largest publicly traded owner and operator of open-air shopping centers, is seeking a Specialty Leasing & Brand Partnerships Associate to support Specialty Leasing, sponsorship, and brand partnership activity at an assigned Lifestyle Collection property. This is an entry- to early-career role focused on day-to-day, execution-level support — including lead intake and follow-up, deal coordination, tenant-paid marketing program support, activation fulfillment, and reporting — carried out under the guidance of the Specialty Leasing & Brand Partnerships team, with limited, coordination-level support to the on-site Lifestyle Marketing team where marketing touchpoints are needed to execute those programs. - Respond to specialty leasing inquiries, log and organize inbound leads, confirm basic site fit, capture activation requirements, and route qualified prospects to the appropriate team member for follow-up.
- Support license agreement administration by tracking terms, fees, and renewal dates, and helping ensure compliance with contractual obligations under the guidance of the Specialty Leasing team.
- Coordinate onboarding and operational requirements for specialty tenants, including permits, certificates of insurance, signage, and vendor setup needs.
- Maintain accurate records related to agreements, billing, sales reporting, lead status, and renewals for the assigned property.
Brand Partnerships, Advertising & Sponsorships
- Support sponsorship, brand partnership, tenant-paid advertising, and activation programs at the assigned Lifestyle Collection property.
- Assist in identifying local and regional brands for experiential marketing campaigns, vehicle displays, sampling events, and sponsorship opportunities.

- Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and marketing materials to support new business development for specialty leasing and sponsorship opportunities.
- Coordinate logistics for paid events, activations, promotional displays, and temporary installations, including signage, staffing, and on-site coordination.
- Work closely with property management, marketing, and operations teams to ensure successful execution.
- Collect and maintain proof-of-performance materials — photos, recaps, screenshots, and sponsor deliverables — and support fulfillment tracking and reporting for sponsorship and activation programs.
- Help track activation performance, lead status, tenant participation, media value, and other metrics to support reporting and future specialty leasing and brand partnership opportunities.
- Attend and support center events that include paid sponsorship, Specialty Leasing, vendor, or brand partnership component requiring execution support or fulfillment tracking.
- Support ongoing research on local market trends, consumer behavior, competitive properties, vendor resources, and emerging marketing tactics to inform future programming.
Digital, Social Media & Content Strategy
- Coordinate with the Lifestyle Marketing team to provide all required assets, activation details, creative materials, sponsor deliverables, and related content needed for incorporation into center websites, social media, email marketing, digital advertising, tenant communications, and other marketing channels.
- Coordinate website updates, digital placements, email campaigns, social media promotions, and digital advertising programs related to Specialty Leasing activations, sponsorships, tenant-paid marketing programs, and brand partnerships.
- Manage digital directories, pylon screens, digital displays, and related vendor updates where applicable, ensuring content accuracy and alignment with center and campaign priorities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Advertising, or Public Relations, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in commercial real estate marketing, specialty leasing, or sponsorship/brand partnerships.
