As a Treasury & Banking Operations Specialist, you'll join the Treasury Operations team within Finance and help ensure Coinbase moves money safely, accurately, and on time across our global entity structure. This team owns day-to-day payment operations, liquidity management, and banking partner relationships that keep fiat rails running for millions of customers. You'll execute critical payment workflows, resolve escalated issues, and collaborate with Product and Engineering to launch new payment capabilities at the intersection of traditional finance and crypto.
What you'll do:
- Own day-to-day treasury and banking operations including bank account funding, balance monitoring across all Coinbase legal entities, and liquidity forecasting.
- Execute daily customer payment processing across multiple fiat rails, ensuring timely and compliant settlement.
- Investigate and resolve escalated payment issues by conducting root-cause research and coordinating with banking partners.
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to test and launch new payment rail integrations.
- Collaborate with internal compliance, legal, and finance teams to fulfill regulatory and banking requests.
- Serve as a primary operations contact for banking partners, triaging issues related to fiat rail integrations and customer payments.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience in payment operations, treasury operations, or banking with hands-on exposure to money movement across multiple payment rails.
- Demonstrated proficiency with ACH and multi-rail payment processing; AAP or NACHA certification strongly preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience managing relationships with third-party vendors, banking institutions, or internal cross-functional partners.
- Proven ability to balance competing priorities and deliver accurate, detail-oriented work in a high-volume payment operations environment.
- Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.

Annual base salary range (excluding equity and bonus):
$95,030—$111,800 USD
