Job Description

  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems inlcuding PLC programs in the area of production plants and participation in innovation and efficiency improvement projects in the PLC programming environment.
  • Responsible for coordination and implementation of connections of new assembly systems and old systems to the MES assembly cockpit
  • Implementation and follow-up of the technical specification and implementation of efficiency improvement projects with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems with PLC programming
  • Provide advice/support/troubleshooting (leading or supporting) for problems in production with regard to automated optical tests (optical systems, camera...)
  • Creation of specifications and work instructions
  • Implementation and documentation of feasibility studies in relation to mechanical and electrotechnical systems with PLC programming
  • Participation in innovation or ratio/CIP projects in the production environment (global)
  • Implementation of work packages for projects in the production area (global, CIP, ratio, optimization, modification, transfer...) Focus on mechanical and electrical systems and PLC programming
  • Largely independent procurement of purchased components for the supervised work packages (in coordination with purchasing, suppliers, production)
  • Creation and further development of technical standards: focus on mechanical and electrotechnical systems with PLC programming
  • Preparing documentation for optimizations / modifications according to the specifications (e.g. circuit diagrams, programming,...)
  • Derivation of technical standards and responsible support of the standards for the various MES terminals
  • Providing support in qualification activities for modifications of automated systems

Qualifications

  • Secondary school degree or above in  Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering  and extended  with subsequent  advanced training (e.g. industrial master craftsman, technician). The position requires at least 5 years of professional experience in a comparable area of responsibility and in-depth specialist knowledge.
  • Experience  in the specification and implementation of electrotechnical systems
  • Comprehensive knowledge in the application and development of PLC and HMI programming, primarily Siemens
  • Comprehensive knowledge and many years of experience in relation to automation, electronics
  • Comprehensive knowledge in robot programming (e.g. Epson, Yaskawa) and servo drive technology (e.g. Bosch-Rexroth, Festo)
  • Good knowledge of the relevant standards (e.g. Machinery Directive, DIN EN 12100, ISO EN 13849, currently valid version)
  • Expertise in the application of troubleshooting methods in the production environment
  • Good knowledge in the validation/qualification of machines for medical and pharmaceutical products
  • Good knowledge/experience in managing (software) projects
  •  Experience in specifying and implementing optical inspection systems
  • Good IT user skills (e.g. MS Office, mainly Excel + PowerPoint)
  • Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English
  • Stable, solid personality with strong leadership skills able to quickly establish credibility internally and externally
  • Strong communication skills both internally and externally utilizing networking and exchanging best practices
  • Possesses intercultural sensitivity and understanding, with the ability to work collaboratively an international business environment
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities, produce excellent work results and follow through on commitments.

  • Willingness to international business travel within the first month of the employment 
  • Employment will be with our company in the Republic of North Macedonia
