About this role

We're building tools for space missions. Our crown jewel is a stack of in-house simulators. The work ranges from implementing performant physics models and raytracing algorithms to complex interfaces, API design and UX. Our focus is on building small, independent teams. We think what we're working on is pretty cool and fun, and everyone here is passionate for a bunch of stuff, work-related or otherwise :)

We're looking for a spacecraft simulation engineer who turns physics into working, validated software. You'll build and validate the functional models at the heart of the platform, translating a defined scientific architecture into tested simulation code. It's a hands-on role on a small team, where you go deep on real spacecraft problems and own meaningful work from early on.

You'll work across spacecraft subsystems and watch a model travel the whole way from design through optimization to operations, as the platform matures from a simulation engine into a full design framework — a rare, end-to-end view almost no role offers.

The ideal candidate reasons from first principles and trusts physics over intuition — when a result looks off, they chase down why rather than take it on faith. They're comfortable writing scientific code, move fast between hypothesis and validation, and care that a model holds up against real flight data, not just that it runs.

Responsibilities

  • Turn the physics of spacecraft subsystems into working simulation models, to a defined scientific architecture.
  • Validate model outputs against real mission and reference data, and chase down discrepancies.
  • Run simulations, analyze results, and turn them into clear findings.
  • Help build the trade-study and design-optimization layer as the platform grows from a simulation engine into a design framework.
  • Document what you build so it holds up as we mature.
  • A degree in aerospace, physics, ECE, or an adjacent field — we care more about how you reason than your exact credential or years.
  • Strong grounding in physics, able to reason from first principles about an unfamiliar subsystem and to question whether a result makes physical sense rather than take it on faith.
  • Comfortable writing scientific code, with solid Python or MATLAB and the drive to pick up Julia fast.
  • A project or thesis you can walk us through in depth.

Nice-to-haves

  • Hands-on experience with spacecraft subsystems — orbital mechanics, attitude dynamics (GNC/AOCS), or antenna and RF/comms systems.
  • Familiarity with Julia and its scientific-computing ecosystem.
  • Experience validating simulation models against real flight telemetry or reference data.
  • Exposure to CubeSat or small-satellite missions, hardware, or operations.

We're an early-stage deep-tech startup with solid funding and great advisors. We work fully remotely, with a lab in Athens, GR always open for anyone who needs a dedicated space.
