Software Tester (QA/QC)

BIS Safety Software is a SaaS company on a mission to change how organizations manage safety, learning, and compliance, and the team behind that mission matters just as much as the product. As we continue to grow, we’re expanding our QA team and adding another Software Tester to help strengthen our testing capabilities. We’re looking for someone who is thoughtful, detail-oriented, and passionate about software quality. This role has a strong focus on manual testing and is a great fit for someone who enjoys digging into the details, uncovering issues, and understanding how things work, while also having an interest in contributing to automation efforts along the way. About the role: As part of our QA team, you’ll play a hands-on role in making sure every requirement meets a high standard of quality and performs as expected for our clients. Your primary focus will be manual testing, working through new features and product updates, identifying bugs and edge cases, and catching issues before they make it into production. You’ll work closely with developers and other QA team members to understand product workflows, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve how we test. While manual testing will be the main focus of this role, you’ll also have opportunities to contribute to and work alongside our growing automation efforts. This is an onsite role based out of our Sherwood Park, Alberta office.
