About this role

Role Software Security Engineer Backend(Python)

Location Krakow Poland(2-3 days work from office in a week)

6 Months contract(B2B or Sub-Con)

Rate: 180 PLN per hour

Experience: 8+ years

Skills: Python, Django, Node.js, TypeScript, GCP, Kubernetes (GKE), Terraform, PostgreSQL, OAuth2/OpenID Connect, Backend Development

Responsibilities:

  • Design develop and maintain secure backend services and cloudnative applications
  • Drive Engineering Excellence initiatives across Software Security platforms
  • Deliver productionready code and contribute directly to software development activities
  • Build scalable backend services using Python Nodejs and modern cloudnative technologies
  • Architect solutions on GKE and optimize PostgreSQL performance for highconcurrency environments
  • Build and support eventdriven architectures using PubSub
  • Own the full lifecycle of services on GCP ensuring resilience observability security and cost efficiency
  • Design and manage OAuth2 and OpenID Connect authentication flows
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Promote engineering standards quality automation and operational excellence
  • Mentor engineers and contribute to technical leadership across teams
  • Drive adoption of secure coding automation and cloud engineering best practices
  • Continuously evaluate and adopt emerging technologies and engineering trends

To be successful in this role you should have:

  • Deep expertise in Python Django andor Nodejs TypeScriptNestJS
  • Experience delivering productiongrade backend services
  • Knowledge of Go and modern backend development practices
  • Handson experience with Google Cloud Platform GCP
  • Experience with Cloud Run GKE and Filestore
  • Strong Infrastructure as Code IaC experience using Terraform
  • Experience building scalable secure backend applications
  • Strong understanding of Zero Trust security models
  • Knowledge of OAuth2 and OpenID Connect authentication frameworks
  • Experience with PostgreSQL performance optimization
  • Experience with EventDriven Architectures using PubSub
  • Strong software architecture and engineering design skills
  • Fullstack awareness with deep backend specialization
  • Strong problemsolving and innovation mindset
  • Experience mentoring engineers and driving engineering excellence
  • Strong understanding of automation observability resiliency and cloudnative operations
  • Ability to work effectively in Agile engineering environments
