Software Engineer - Drilling Fluid (m/f/d)
About this role
- Develop and program automation solutions for project deliveries.
- Program and support PLC and HMI/SCADA systems.
- Translate drawings, schematics, and technical requirements into functioning automation solutions.
- Test and verify systems to ensure quality and reliability.
- Prepare engineering and project documentation.
- Contribute to software development and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other engineers to meet project requirements and delivery schedules.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with process automation, including PLC and/or HMI systems.
- Solid understanding of software development principles and best practices, including design patterns and coding standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Collaborative and open-minded approach, with a willingness to learn and contribute to the team.
- Passion for technology and an interest in keeping up to date with developments in software and automation.
