Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and creative Social Media Head to lead our social media strategy and strengthen the digital presence of Toprankers and its brands.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in social media strategy, content planning, audience growth, and team management, with a strong understanding of digital trends.

Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media Strategy

  • Develop and execute social media strategies across Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other relevant platforms.
  • Build platform-specific strategies to increase reach, engagement, and brand visibility.
  • Stay updated with social media trends, formats, and algorithms.

2. Content Planning & Execution

  • Lead monthly/weekly content calendars across brands and platforms.
  • Oversee content creation including reels, posts, stories, campaigns, and other social formats.
  • Ensure content is aligned with brand voice, audience needs, and business goals.

3. Growth & Performance

  • Drive organic growth, engagement, reach, and audience acquisition.
  • Monitor social media analytics and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Track competitors and emerging trends to improve content performance.

4. Team Management

  • Lead and mentor the social media and content team.
  • Set goals, review performance, and ensure timely execution of content plans.
  • Coordinate with designers, video editors, content, marketing, and other teams.

5. Campaigns & Brand Building

  • Plan and execute social media campaigns, launches, and trending initiatives.
  • Strengthen Toprankers’ brand presence across key digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with influencers, creators, and relevant partners when required.

6. Reporting & Optimization

  • Prepare regular social media performance reports.
  • Track key metrics such as reach, engagement, followers, views, and conversions.
  • Use insights and data to continuously optimize the social media strategy.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or content marketing.
  • Proven experience in managing social media for a brand or organization.
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other major platforms.
  • Excellent understanding of content trends, analytics, and audience growth.
  • Strong communication, creativity, leadership, and execution skills.
  • Experience managing a team is preferred.
  • EdTech experience will be an added advantage.
