Social Media - Associate
lendenclub· Brand Communications & PR
About this role
About the Role
We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just post — they build. Someone who understands that social media isn’t a support function, it’s a growth engine. You’ll own end-to-end social media strategy, decide how the brand shows up, and be responsible for growing our presence with consistently great content and sharp strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with brand and business goals.
- Plan, create, and publish content across platforms — LinkedIn, Instagram, X (Twitter), YouTube, and others as relevant.
- Build and manage the content calendar with a clear editorial rhythm.
- Stay ahead of social media trends, platform algorithm changes, and viral formats — and know which ones are worth jumping on.
- Grow followers, engagement, and reach through organic strategy, community building, and smart content plays.
- Analyze performance metrics, pull insights, and optimize based on data — not gut alone.
- Manage the brand’s voice and tone across every comment, caption, and DM.
- Experiment with new formats — reels, carousels, trials, polls, threads — and figure out what resonates.
Who You Are
- You have 4-7 years of hands-on social media management experience, preferably in finance, fintech, or a related space.
- You have proven experience growing the social media presence of at least 1–2 brands — with measurable results and numbers to back it up.
- You understand how to translate financial products, concepts, and updates into content that real people engage with.
- You’re a strategist first — you think in terms of funnels, audience segments, and content pillars, not just aesthetics.
- You’re deeply plugged into what’s happening on the internet — trends, memes, discourse — and you know how to make it relevant for a brand.
- You communicate clearly and write well — your captions don’t sound like a press release.
- You’re analytical — you live in dashboards, understand what metrics actually matter, and use data to make decisions.
- You’re proactive, organized, and can manage multiple platforms without missing a beat.
Must Have
- 4-7 years of experience in social media management.
- Demonstrated track record of growing at least 1–2 brand pages (followers, engagement, reach) with supporting data or case studies.
- Strong portfolio showcasing content strategy, creative campaigns, and measurable growth outcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Deep understanding of platform-specific best practices (LinkedIn, Instagram, X, YouTube).
- Experience working with paid social campaigns and boosted content.
- Familiarity with tools like Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social, or similar.
- Basic understanding of SEO and how search and social work together.
- Experience collaborating with influencers or creators.
