Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our ever evolving API Operations team within GlobalTech Poland Sp. z o.o  and help shape the future of global commerce.

What you’ll own

  • Serve as the first line of defense for production incidents, ensuring rapid triage, root cause analysis, resolution, and collaboration with engineering teams where needed.
  •  Monitor system health and performance of APIs and integrations, tracking and investigating latency, failures, and escalations.
  •  Collaborate with platform engineers to implement observability, logging, and alerting best practices for API services.
  • Build and maintain diagnostic tools, runbooks, workflows, knowledge bases, and playbooks to improve incident response and enable repeatable troubleshooting.
  •  Partner with governance and compliance teams to ensure proper incident documentation, contribute to retrospectives, and drive continuous improvement of production systems.

What you’ll bring

  • 3+ years of experience in production support, SRE, or DevOps (preferably with Apigee APIs), with strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred) and observability tools.
  •  Proficiency in Python, shell scripting, and programming languages such as Python and JavaScript for automation and troubleshooting.
  •  Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and incident management skills.
  •  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with ability to work proactively, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines with accuracy.
  • English proficiency at B2-C1 level and Czech/ Polish proficiency at B1-B2 level.

It’s a bonus if you have

  • Experience with CI/CD tools and alerts/monitoring automation.
  • Familiarity with API integrations.
  • Experience working across organizational structures and using judgment to drive outcomes.
