About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Site Pool Engineer to oversee the execution of swimming pool construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong civil engineering background and hands-on experience managing all phases of pool construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all swimming pool construction activities on-site from excavation to final handover.
- Oversee reinforced concrete works, waterproofing, tiling, finishing, and pool equipment installation.
- Ensure all work is executed in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and project schedules.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements related to swimming pool works.
- Monitor the installation and testing of pool filtration, circulation, drainage, and water treatment systems.
- Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and snag list reviews to ensure compliance with project standards.
- Resolve technical issues and provide practical engineering solutions on-site.
- Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and update project management on site activities.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Site Pool Engineer or in a similar role.
- Hands-on experience in all aspects of swimming pool construction is a must, including:
- Reinforced concrete works
- Waterproofing systems
- Pool tiling and finishing
- Pool mechanical systems and equipment
- Testing, commissioning, and handover
- Strong knowledge of construction drawings, shop drawings, BOQs, and quality control procedures.
- Excellent site supervision, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
Working Conditions
- Head Office: Sheikh Zayed, 6th of October City
- Work Location: Construction Sites
- Working Days: Saturday – Thursday
- Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
