Job Description Summary

Join our team as a Service Writer! In this role, you'll support daily service operations by managing work orders, processing warranty claims, coordinating parts, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Open, update, and close work orders accurately
  • Process and track warranty claims
  • Order, receive, and distribute parts
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts
  • Enter and manage service calls
  • Coordinate with technicians and support field service scheduling
  • Process service invoices and maintain equipment records
  • Prepare damage reports and related documentation
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues
  • Communicate service updates, bulletins, and customer concerns

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficient with computers and data entry

Preferred

  • Service Writer, Service Coordinator, or related experience
  • Experience with work orders, warranty claims, or parts inventory
  • Equipment rental, construction, automotive, or heavy equipment industry experience

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, and walk throughout the day
  • Occasional exposure to outdoor or shop environments
