Responsibilities
What You'll Do
- Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service from hello to check
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system
- Make menu recommendations and answer questions about food and beverages
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally
- Check in with guests throughout their experience and anticipate their needs
- Maintain clean, organized and properly set tables
- Process payments accurately and efficiently
- Work closely with the kitchen, bar and fellow team members to keep service running smoothly
- Follow all food safety, alcohol service and resort standards
- Help create an energetic environment where guests want to come back
Qualifications
What We're Looking For
- Previous restaurant or hospitality serving experience preferred
- A genuine desire to take care of people
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying organized
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to handle multiple tables and priorities at once
- A team player who is willing to jump in wherever needed
- Must meet applicable age requirements for alcohol service
The Physical Stuff
You will spend a good portion of your shift on your feet, moving throughout the restaurant, carrying trays, reaching, bending and occasionally lifting items weighing up to 25 pounds.
