About the roleĀ
SharkNinjaĀ isĀ seekingĀ a strategic, highly skilled Senior UX Designer to join our Global Digital Store Centre of Excellence. This role will be instrumental in shaping and delivering best-in-class user experiences across our global direct-to-consumer (DTC) websites.Ā
As a Senior UX Designer, you will combine strategic UX thinking with hands-on design craft, leading the end-to-end experience from research and insight through user flows, wireframes,Ā prototypesĀ and high-fidelity UI. You will help define global UX principles while ensuring experiences are grounded in customer needs, businessĀ objectivesĀ and measurable performance.Ā
YouāllĀ partner closely with Product, Engineering, Creative, Marketing, CRO, Analytics and regional DTC teams to bring theĀ SharkNinjaĀ brand to life online, continuously improving experiences through research,Ā experimentationĀ and data.Ā

RESPONSIBILITIESĀ
UX Design & DeliveryĀ
- Lead the end-to-end UX design process, from discovery and research through user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelityĀ UIĀ and final engineering handoff.Ā
- Translate complex customer and business needs into intuitive, engaging and commercially effective digital experiences.Ā
- Create clear user journeys, interaction models and prototypes that communicate design intent to stakeholders and engineering teams.Ā
- Balance customer needs, brand expression, commercialĀ objectivesĀ and technical constraints throughout the design process.Ā
- Deliver high-quality,Ā responsiveĀ and mobile-first experiences acrossĀ SharkNinjaāsĀ global DTC ecosystem.Ā
Research & Customer InsightĀ
- Plan and conduct user research, usability testing, customerĀ interviewsĀ and other qualitative research to uncover customer needs and experience friction.Ā
- Leverage quantitative and qualitativeĀ insight, including analytics, session replay,Ā surveysĀ and customer research, to inform design decisions.Ā
- SynthesiseĀ research into clear insights and actionable recommendations that influence product and experience direction.Ā
- Champion the voice of the customer across cross-functional teams and ensure customer needsĀ remainĀ central to decision-making.Ā
- Validate concepts and designs throughout the development process rather than relying solely on post-launch measurement.Ā
CRO, Analytics & ExperimentationĀ
- Partner closely with CRO and Analytics teams toĀ identifyĀ customer friction, commercialĀ opportunitiesĀ and areas for experience improvement.Ā
- Develop UX solutions designed to improve conversion,Ā engagementĀ and customer satisfaction.Ā
- Support and contribute to A/B testing and experimentationĀ programmes, using findings toĀ validateĀ hypotheses and continuously improve experiences.Ā
- Use quantitative and qualitative data to evaluate design performance and inform iteration.Ā
- Establish clear success measures for key experience initiatives and connect design decisions to measurable customer and commercial outcomes.Ā
Global UX Standards & Design SystemsĀ
- Contribute to defining the global UX vision,Ā principlesĀ and roadmap forĀ SharkNinjaāsĀ DTC experiences.Ā
- Establish and maintain UX best practices and processes that improve consistency,Ā qualityĀ and efficiency.Ā
- Contribute toĀ maintainingĀ and evolvingĀ shared design systems, patterns, styleĀ guidesĀ and Figma libraries to support global scalability and adoption.Ā
- Act as a Figma expert, championing scalableĀ componentĀ design and efficient collaborative workflows.Ā
- Run design reviews and critique sessions to continually raise the quality bar across digital experiences.Ā
Accessibility & Inclusive DesignĀ
- Champion accessibility and inclusive design throughout the end-to-end design process.Ā
- Ensure experiences and design-system components meetĀ appropriate WCAGĀ accessibility standards.Ā
- Consider accessibility across interaction design, visual design, content hierarchy, responsiveĀ behaviorĀ andĀ componentĀ development.Ā
- Partner with Engineering to ensure accessibility requirements are maintained from design through implementation.Ā
Cross-Functional CollaborationĀ
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, Creative, Marketing, Trading, CRO and Analytics teams to transform businessĀ objectivesĀ into seamless digital experiences.Ā
- Partner with Engineering throughout the design process to understand technical opportunities and constraints and ensure high-quality implementation.Ā
- Collaborate with regional DTC teams to understand local customer and commercial needs whileĀ maintainingĀ global experience consistency.Ā
- Communicate design rationale clearly and confidently to stakeholders, including senior leadership.Ā
- Build strong partnerships across disciplines and champion a collaborative, customer-centredĀ design culture.Ā

ATTRIBUTES & SKILLSĀ
- 5+ years of experience in UX or Product Design, ideally within a fast-paced ecommerce or DTC environment.Ā
- A strong portfolioĀ demonstratingĀ end-to-end UX design, from research and journey definition through wireframes, prototyping, UI and shipped digital experiences.Ā
- Expert-levelĀ proficiencyĀ in Figma, including prototyping, components,Ā librariesĀ and design systems.Ā
- Strong understanding of user research methods and experience planning and conducting research independently.Ā
- Experience using analytics,Ā CROĀ and experimentation to inform and evaluate design decisions.Ā
- ExperienceĀ designing forĀ and contributing to A/B testingĀ programmes.Ā
- Deep understanding of interaction design, responsive design,Ā usabilityĀ and mobile-first principles.Ā
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards, including WCAG, and inclusive design principles.Ā
- Experience working closely with Engineering and an understanding of front-end/UI engineering principles and technical constraints.Ā
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate quantitative and qualitative findings into actionable design improvements.Ā
- Excellent presentation,Ā storytellingĀ and stakeholder-management skills.Ā
- Experience contributing to and evolving scalable design systems.Ā
- Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.Ā
