Senior Test Engineer

• Scenario Design: Develop and execute test scenarios for core Islamic Trade Finance modules (e.g., Murabaha, Mudaraba, and Wakala) to ensure Sharia compliance. • System Testing: Perform end-to-end testing on Finastra platforms to validate straight-through processing (STP), limits management, and SWIFT messaging. • Defect Management: Identify, log, and track bugs using tracking tools like Jira, ensuring test evidence traceability. • Compliance Checks: Validate trade transactions against UAE regulatory frameworks and AML guidelines. • Test Planning & Strategy: Design, implement, and coordinate comprehensive test strategies and plans. Define test objectives, establish acceptance criteria, and translate business requirements into testable actions. • Execute manual and automated tests, and conduct critical performance, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT). • Defect Management: Identify bugs, track them in management tools, conduct root-cause analyses, and monitor defect resolution efforts. • Team Mentorship: Provide guidance, training, and 360-degree feedback for junior QA team members. Assist management in allocating resources based on test complexity. • Stakeholder Collaboration: Review user story estimates with product owners, evaluate testing tools, and communicate quality metrics across cross-functional teams Qualifications • Domain Expertise: 3-5 years of QA or Business Analysis experience specifically in corporate banking, with deep knowledge of Islamic trade finance products. • Technical Skills: Experience with Finastra platforms (Trade Innovation, TI+), SQL database querying, and API testing (REST/SOAP). • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with CBUAE guidelines and GoAML reporting standards
