Job Summary

Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Engineer

Job Description

Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Engineer with minimum 3+ years of direct technical administration experience with Grooper and OpenText AppEnhancer (ApplicationXtender).

  • Serve as the primary technical expert for Grooper (advanced data capture and AI) and OpenText AppEnhancer (formerly ApplicationXtender).
  • Design automated document workflows, build advanced data extraction models, and ensure seamless system integrations across our enterprise applications.
  • Basic programming skills like VB, Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle Database, including writing SQL queries and understanding database schemas
  • Deep understanding of Windows Server environments, IIS, .NET frameworks, and cloud hosting architecture (Azure or AWS).
  • Able to Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Grooper and OpenText AppEnhancer server environments.
  • Manage, optimize, and support our critical document ingestion and archiving infrastructure.
  • Design and optimize Grooper document profiles, classification trees, and advanced OCR cleanup scripts. Configure pattern matching, table extraction, and integrated generative AI tools for unstructured documents.
  • Manage AppEnhancer applications, indexing fields, and granular security matrices. Build and troubleshoot automated business routes using AppWorks or Flowable engines.
  • Administer user permissions and authentication via Active Directory, OpenText Directory Services (OTDS), and Single Sign-On (SSO) configurations.
  • Triage tier-2 and tier-3 support tickets, analyze engine error logs, resolve export failures, and maximize platform uptime.
