Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Microservices Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and cloud-native backend services. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, API development, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build scalable, resilient, and secure microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Design and deploy cloud-native workloads on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)/Kubernetes and Cloud Run.
• Implement asynchronous, event-driven integrations using Google Cloud Pub/Sub.
• Establish GitOps-based CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code workflows using GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Terraform.

Implement monitoring, logging, automated testing, and security best practices

Skill Requirements

• Backend: Java 11/17+, Core Java, multithreading, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, Hibernate/JPA, and microservices architecture.
• API and Security: RESTful APIs, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Cloud: Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-native application design.
• Key GCP Services: Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Kubernetes, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Artifact Registry, Cloud Build, Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, IAM, Secret Manager, and Cloud Storage.
• Containers and Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes deployment patterns, configuration, scaling, service discovery, and workload troubleshooting.
• GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD: Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Terraform, reusable Terraform modules, remote state management, branch and pull-request workflows, automated validation, and build/test/deployment pipelines.
• Data and Messaging: PostgreSQL/MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Google Cloud Pub/Sub, and Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Build, Quality, and Testing: Maven, SonarQube, JUnit, and Mockito.
