Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Tax Associate to join our growing tax team.

The ideal candidate will handle complex tax compliance and advisory assignments, review junior work, and support the delivery of high-quality tax solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities

• preparing and filing tax returns, including VAT, withholding tax, payroll tax, and annual income tax returns.

• Analyze financial accounts and apply relevant tax laws and regulations.

• Support and supervise junior team members (Tax Associates) in executing their daily tasks.

• Lead and participate in preparing tax examination files and working papers.

• Conduct research on Egyptian and international tax laws, rulings, and updates.

• Provide guidance, training, and constructive feedback to team members.

• Act as a point of contact for clients and tax authorities.

• Ensure compliance with deadlines and documentation standards.

• Apply international standards in documentation, analysis, and tax reporting.

• Stay up to date with Egyptian tax law changes to mitigate compliance risks.

• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Tax Manager or direct supervisor.

• Contribute to continuous process improvement and the firm’s quality standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in tax compliance and advisory (experience in a consultancy or audit firm is a plus).

• Solid knowledge of Egyptian tax laws and good understanding of international taxation principles.

• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office and tax/accounting software.

• Excellent communication and reporting skills in Arabic and English.

• Team player with a commitment to accuracy and continuous learning.
