Senior Systems Engineer

SkyGrid, a Wisk Company, exists to open the sky for autonomous flight. Based in Austin, Texas, SkyGrid builds ground-based high-assurance third-party services to enable the safe operations and airspace integration of highly automated and autonomous aircraft. SkyGrid also acts as a key operational nexus for advanced air mobility, integrating and managing data, infrastructure, access, and traffic to support seamless and efficient air traffic services.    The SkyGrid team is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to support activities across the company portfolio. In doing so, this person will take on a key role in defining and architecting SkyGrid’s systems across the Systems Engineering “V”, including development of requirements, use cases, and functional architecture. This role directly supports certification and verification & validation planning, while following an MBSE paradigm throughout the system lifecycle. You will work with engineers across multiple disciplines as well as Integrated Product Team leads, other systems engineers, program managers, and system architects. Success in this role requires a combination of technical skills, soft skills, and leadership experience. This role will report to the Systems Engineering Manager and while a hybrid workplace is preferred, it can be considered a fully remote role.
