About the role:

As our Sustainable Development Manager, you will play a key role in turning Redcare Pharmacy’s sustainability ambitions into tangible action. You will combine strategic sustainability work with hands-on execution, helping us strengthen our ESG performance and stay ahead of evolving regulatory requirements.

You will take ownership of our Double Materiality Assessment (DMA) and coordinate our Sustainability Steering Committee, bringing together stakeholders from across the business to drive our sustainability agenda forward. Beyond governance and reporting, you will help translate priorities into concrete initiatives, particularly around circularity and our own workforce.

Working in an international and fast-moving environment, you will have the opportunity to shape how sustainability is embedded across Redcare Pharmacy and contribute to measurable progress on our ESG priorities.

Job Description

About you

  • You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field.
  • You bring 3–5 years of relevant experience in sustainability, ESG, compliance, or a related area.
  • You have experience working with sustainability regulations and frameworks, ideally including CSRD and Double Materiality Assessments.
  • You are comfortable working with data and complex information and know how to translate insights into concrete actions and recommendations.
  • You enjoy working cross-functionally and can bring different stakeholders together around a common goal.
  • You communicate sustainability topics clearly and confidently to different audiences, from subject-matter experts to senior stakeholders.
  • You take ownership, work proactively and enjoy turning broad challenges into practical solutions.
  • You are fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
