Senior Support Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a highly qualified and motivated CAE engineer to join the Development Support team.

Collaborate closely with software developers and product managers throughout the development cycle of Simcenter Hypermesh to ensure that new features are well understood and perform as intended. This includes demonstrating the use of newly implemented software features and their functionalities, in addition to verifying that new features behave as their designs intend.

Experience in high-performance finite element modeling and are comfortable working with engineering applications of varying complexity. Have an in-depth understanding of CAE simulations, from CAD geometry handling to generating ready-to-run solver files.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineer with a postgraduate degree (PhD, MEng, MSc or equivalent) in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, or other closely related fields, as well as prior experience working with CAE software.
• Ability to find innovative approaches to problem solving and to show initiative in overcoming challenges. Proven ability to work autonomously and to prioritize different projects is essential to the role, as well as good organizational skills.
• Experience in: Using Simcenter Hypermesh; High-fidelity modeling of complex industrial CAE geometries; High-performance pre- and post-processing for major solvers; Python scripting for automation and scalability; Direct modeling, morphing, and mid-surfacing; Supporting and/or testing CAE software; Working in a Linux and Windows environment.
