About this role

The Trade Desk is a global technology company and the world’s leading independent platform for digital advertising, with nearly 4,000 employees across more than 30 offices. Our technology helps advertisers reach the right audiences across the open internet — from streaming TV and podcasts to mobile apps, news, and more.

Advertising powers the content people love. By making it more transparent, effective, and responsible, we help support trusted journalism, quality entertainment, and creators worldwide. The world’s brands and agencies rely on us to reach their customers and grow their businesses responsibly.

The scale of our platform brings unique technical challenges — from processing massive datasets in real time to building systems that operate reliably on a global scale. When you work here, your impact is worldwide. We welcome diverse perspectives, encourage curiosity, and build teams that learn from one another. If you’re driven to solve meaningful challenges, we’d love to meet you.

The Team

The GTM Product Team develops intelligent systems and platform capabilities that power The Trade Desk’s global operations at scale. We collaborate with Sales, Business Development, Client Services, Revenue Operations, Legal, Finance, and HR to resolve complex operational challenges using data-driven design and scalable architecture. As these workflows evolve, we are rethinking enterprise software to be more intelligent, context-aware, and proactive. We believe the next generation of products will work alongside people, helping teams reason across complex processes, surface insights in real time, and make faster, more confident decisions.

The Role

Product Managers at The Trade Desk are strategic builders, product thinkers, and operators who thrive in ambiguity and move quickly from concept to execution. This is a senior role for a PM ready to own a GTM domain end to end and set the standard others follow. You'll own the strategy and roadmap for products that power our global go-to-market organization, frame net-new problems before anyone asks, and be the person GTM, Rev Ops, and business leaders rely on for the roadmap and the hard, ambiguous calls.

What you'll do (and who you are)

You've owned a domain or multiple medium to large initiatives concurrently end to end under real ambiguity, set a standard your team adopted, and built an approach others actually use.

  1. Own a GTM domain end to end. Set a stable, year-long north-star metric and a 9–12 month roadmap for your products, and routinely frame and solve net-new GTM problems with no guidance.
  1. See around corners on the platform. Anticipate how changes to the TTD platform, spend, pacing, optimization ripple into GTM workflows and outcomes like forecasting and pacing-driven recommendations, and design for it.
  1. Make AI the default, and lift the team. You get real value from AI and help teammates do the same through approaches that get adopted because they work, not because they're AI. You know when AI isn't the answer, and you drive new ways of working with evidence-backed, sometimes contrarian thinking.
  1. Prototype instead of writing specs. A working mockup (Figma, Magic Patterns, an AI-built prototype) beats a long doc for compressing alignment and pressure-testing an idea. You'd rather show than tell.
  1. Ground everything in real users. Model direct user contact with Sales, Revenue Operations, Finance, and Client Services, so your decisions come from real problems, and define what good looks like for the team along the way.
  1. Own outcomes, and unblock others. Set and track success metrics for the domain and drive decisions from them. Resolve misalignment up to exec-level partners, communicate with no ambiguity, and remove blockers for the people around you, not just yourself.
