Join a talented, product focussed engineering team committed to solving some of the most complex and impactful problems within sales performance management.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer who thrives at the intersection of product discovery, engineering and system design. In this role, you will work on our Sales Planning platform, focusing on building, scaling, and refining core modules like Quota, Capacity, Territory management and our new revenue planning AI agent.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on an early stage product where your engineering decisions directly impact customer success, our common platform and help us build a fully AI enabled product.

What you'll Do

    • Develop new core product capabilities from the ground up: Transforming initial concepts into production-ready features using Django, Python and React.

      • Collaborate closely with Product and Design: Translate ambiguous problems into high-impact technical solutions.

      • Optimize platform performance: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure the platform remains responsive as we scale to support complex enterprise-grade data sets.

      • Scale for the enterprise: Help us drive requirements and migrate to a new common platform across all our products

      • Maintain high technical standards: Ensure excellence in code quality, automated testing, and observability while mentoring other engineers on the team.

Requirements

    • 5+ years of software engineering experience with full-stack proficiency in Python, React/TypeScript and databases.

    • Understanding of how to leverage AI tools effectively to ship reliable code at pace

    • Proven track record of building and scaling products from early stages.

    • Strong systems thinking and architectural judgment, with the ability to design data models and APIs that support complex business logic and high data volumes.

    • Customer-centric approach: Proven ability to translate customer feedback and business requirements into effective technical solutions.

    • High ownership of production reliability: Experience building and maintaining observable, reliable systems in production settings.

    • Excellent communication skills and product sensibility, with a focus on collaborating deeply with product and design stakeholders.

Why You’ll Love This Role

  • You’ll help define how AI is productized in a brand-new EPM offering.
  • You’ll work on both platform foundations and user-facing experiences, with real influence over direction.
  • You’ll operate in a space where engineering, product, and design are tightly intertwined.
  • Your work will shape not just features, but the long-term AI strategy and technical foundation of the product.

Bonus Points

    • Experience with Django strongly favoured

    • Experience building AI model feedback loops to continuously improve model behavior

    • Experience implementing AI evaluation and guardrails, such as:

      • Offline and online evaluations

      • Safety filters, policy enforcement, and failure detection

      • Human-in-the-loop workflows and red-teaming

Benefits

  • Comprehensive Healthcare: 100% coverage for medical, dental, and vision for all FTEs, with roughly 75% coverage for dependents.
  • Flexible Time Off: Flexible vacation days plus quarterly mental health days to ensure you have the space to recharge.
  • Annual Stipends: Dedicated funds for your professional development and caretaking needs.
  • Work Anniversary Bonuses: Annual bonuses to celebrate your milestones and contributions to the CaptivateIQ team that grow as your tenure does.
