Senior Sales Account Manager, Automotive Business
About this role
The Senior Sales Account Manager is responsible for driving business growth and expanding strategic partnerships with Korean automotive OEMs and Tier-1 customers. This position will lead customer engagement activities, develop account strategies, manage business opportunities, and coordinate internally with Sales, FAE, Marketing, Product Business Units, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to deliver sustainable revenue growth.
The successful candidate will have strong customer relationship management skills, solid semiconductor industry experience, and in-depth understanding of the Korean automotive ecosystem.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for assigned Automotive OEM and Tier-1 customers.
- Drive revenue growth, design-win activities, and new business opportunities within the Korea automotive market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders and position the company as a strategic partner.
- Lead customer engagement activities including business reviews, commercial negotiations, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with FAE, Marketing, Product Business Units, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to support customer requirements and achieve business objectives.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and customer roadmaps, and provide business insights to internal stakeholders.
- Manage sales forecast, opportunity pipeline, and business performance to meet assigned targets.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 8+ years of experience in semiconductor sales, business development, FAE, or account management
- Strong understanding of automotive semiconductor applications and the Korea automotive ecosystem (OEM/Tier-1).
- Proven ability to develop customer relationships and drive sustainable business growth
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Fluent Korean and business-level English communication skills.
- Self-motivated, customer-oriented, and capable of working effectively in a global, cross-functional environment.
