Due to continued growth and an expanding portfolio of hyperscale Data Centre projects across Germany, we are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join our team and play a key role in the successful delivery of complex, large-scale developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project programmes for major Data Centre projects from pre-construction through to handover.
- Prepare baseline programmes, monitor progress, and produce regular planning and performance reports for project stakeholders.
- Analyse progress, critical path activities, and project performance, identifying risks and opportunities to ensure successful project delivery.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Engineers, and subcontractors to ensure programme objectives are achieved.
- Lead planning workshops, look-ahead planning sessions, and schedule reviews to support project execution.
- Monitor resource requirements, procurement schedules, and key project milestones.
- Identify potential delays and develop mitigation and recovery programmes where required.
- Provide planning expertise during tender, pre-construction, and live project phases.
- Support project controls, progress measurement, earned value reporting, and schedule risk analysis.
- Promote continuous improvement by challenging construction methodologies and identifying opportunities to optimise programme delivery.
- Degree qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' planning experience on major construction projects.
- Proven experience delivering Data Centre projects or other large-scale mission-critical developments.
- Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Strong understanding of critical path analysis, project controls, progress reporting, and schedule risk management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience working on international construction projects is advantageous.
