About this role

About the Role

Join an AI-native legal services team as a senior partner, bringing an established, portable client practice and helping shape how legal services are delivered. You will continue serving your clients while supporting the firm's growth and adoption of AI-powered workflows.

What You'll Do

  • Bring your portable client practice to the firm and continue delivering legal services to existing clients.

  • Build relationships with private equity, venture capital, and mid-market clients to create opportunities for new work.

  • Identify and develop cross-selling opportunities in commercial and compliance services.

  • Work with the founding team to move recurring legal matters into AI-assisted workflows.

  • Represent the firm in the market and contribute to its growth strategy.

What We're Looking For

  • 12 to 20+ years of German legal practice, with partner-level experience at a recognized law firm or a boutique with comparable standing.

  • German-qualified Volljurist admitted as a Rechtsanwalt, with native-level German and professional English.

  • A personally held, portable book of business of at least €1 million, with a broad client base and strong private equity or venture capital relationships.

  • Experience in recurring, automatable work such as commercial contracts, IT and data, corporate or venture capital matters, or regulatory work.

  • Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or legal AI tools, and an interest in automating legal work.

  • A practical path to transition your practice, with client relationships that are not dependent on a firm brand or a small number of clients.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual compensation is €200,000 to €300,000, with meaningful equity participation. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Hybrid, based in Berlin, Germany.
