Essnova is seeking four Senior Mechanical Designers to support mechanical design and drafting for the integration of candidate solutions onto U.S. Army aviation platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide mechanical modeling, design, drafting, and analysis support.
- Develop prototype and production Technical Data Packages using PTC Pro/ENGINEER/Creo and Creo Schematics.
- Prepare configuration-controlled designs, drawings, analyses, and technical data using Windchill.
- Design aircraft structures and mounting and support structures.
- Produce part, assembly, and installation drawings.
- Develop production drawing packages compliant with applicable airframe specifications, FAA requirements, ASME Y14.100, and MIL-STD-31000.
- Coordinate with fabrication and testing personnel.
- Oversee technical and less-senior design staff.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least eight years of CAD experience using PTC Pro/ENGINEER/Creo, AutoCAD, or comparable systems.
- Experience generating and interpreting part, assembly, and installation drawings.
- Active Secret clearance; Interim Secret acceptable during onboarding.
- Ability to work primarily onsite at Fort Eustis and travel up to 25%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Creo Schematics and Windchill experience.
- Army aviation, aircraft integration, or aviation R&D experience.
- Experience producing configuration-controlled Technical Data Packages.
