The Senior Marketing Manager, International Resuscitation, leads global marketing strategy and execution for the American Heart Association’s international resuscitation training portfolio, including the Resuscitation Quality Improvement Partners Alliance portfolio. 

 

This role owns go-to-market strategy, market insight, product positioning, launches, demand generation, sales enablement, localization, and customer adoption across international regions. The Senior Marketing Manager partners with sales, business development, product development, communications, regional teams, and RQI Partners; Leads and develops assigned employees and oversees agency and vendor partners, including goal setting, coaching, prioritization, and performance management.

Responsibilities

Global Marketing Strategy 

  • Develop and execute global marketing strategy for the international resuscitation portfolio, translating business, product, and revenue objectives into actionable regional plans. 
  • Lead customer and market research, segmentation, competitive analysis, and market-entry planning to identify growth opportunities, adoption barriers, and regional priorities. 
  • Guide value proposition, positioning, and pricing recommendations using customer, market, and competitive insights. 

Go-to-Market and Product Launches 

  • Lead go-to-market strategy and launch planning for new products, programs, and portfolio enhancements. 
  • Develop product positioning, value propositions, messaging, activation plans, launch objectives, readiness criteria, and performance measures. 
  • Coordinate launch execution across international regions, sales, product, communications, business development, external partners, and the global conference calendar. 

Portfolio and Demand Generation 

  • Develop integrated campaigns that support product adoption, qualified lead generation, and revenue goals. 
  • Drive customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and portfolio growth through regional and market-specific programs. 
  • Lead digital marketing across webinars, email, social media, digital advertising, and marketing automation. 

Sales and Channel Enablement 

  • Partner with international sales leadership and business development to align marketing activity with commercial priorities. 
  • Develop messaging, presentations, campaign materials, sales tools, and customer-facing content for international sales teams, distributors, and channel partners. 
  • Train and support channel teams and use market feedback to strengthen programs, tools, and customer experience. 

Content and Localization 

  • Develop and adapt marketing collateral, digital content, presentations, and sales tools for international audiences. 
  • Lead localization priorities and coordinate with teams responsible for medical, legal, regulatory, and formal localization review. 
  • Ensure localized content reflects market needs, cultural nuances, language requirements, and brand standards while allowing appropriate regional adaptation. 

Cross-Functional Leadership 

  • Serve as the primary marketing lead across the American Heart Association, RQI Partners, international regions, and relevant internal teams. 
  • Build alignment across complex global initiatives by clarifying roles, dependencies, decisions, priorities, and execution plans. 
  • Represent international customer and market needs in product development and communicate portfolio priorities, launch plans, insights, and results. 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. 
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible marketing experience, including product marketing, go-to-market strategy, or demand generation. Eight (8) years is preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare, hospital markets, medical education, medical devices, or a related healthcare sector. 
  • Demonstrated success in developing integrated marketing strategies that drive product adoption and revenue growth. 
  • Experience leading product or program launches across multiple international or culturally diverse markets. 
  • Experience partnering with sales teams and developing effective sales and channel enablement programs. 
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using marketing automation and CRM platforms such as HubSpot and Salesforce. 
  • Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives, manage stakeholders, and communicate effectively across international markets; ability to travel internationally up to 20%, including overnight travel. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Fluency in a language in addition to English. 
  • Experience marketing resuscitation training, clinical education, healthcare technology, or hospital-based solutions. 
  • Experience working with distributors, training networks, licensees, International Training Centers, or other indirect sales channels. 
  • Experience managing employees, agencies, or vendors and coordinating content through medical, legal, regulatory, or localization review processes. 

Compensation & Benefits

The expected pay range will be $100,000 to $110,000. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply. The American Heart Association reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range.
