We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager Warehouse & Logistics to lead and optimize our warehouse, inventory, dispatch, and logistics operations. The role will be responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, timely deliveries, efficient warehouse utilization, cost control, and operational discipline across the supply chain.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in warehouse and logistics management, inventory control, transportation, ERP/WMS systems, and team leadership, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage overall warehouse, inventory, dispatch, and logistics operations.
- Ensure accurate receiving, storage, issuance, picking, and dispatch of materials and finished goods.
- Maintain high inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and effective inventory controls.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods to factories, projects, retail locations, and customers.
- Monitor OTIF (On-Time In-Full) delivery performance and take corrective actions to resolve delivery delays.
- Manage transporters, vehicles, and third-party logistics service providers to ensure reliable and cost-effective operations.
- Monitor and optimize transportation, warehousing, and material-handling costs.
- Improve warehouse layout, space utilization, storage practices, and material flow.
- Ensure accurate ERP/WMS transactions for receipts, transfers, issues, returns, and dispatches.
- Monitor and control damaged, slow-moving, obsolete, and excess inventory.
- Ensure compliance with warehouse SOPs, safety standards, 5S practices, and company policies.
- Lead, train, coach, and develop warehouse and logistics teams to improve productivity and operational performance.
- Coordinate closely with Procurement, Planning, Production, Projects, Retail, Sales, Finance, and other relevant departments.
- Prepare and review regular warehouse and logistics performance reports, KPIs, and dashboards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse productivity, service levels, inventory accuracy, and cost efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA or Master’s degree will be preferred.
- Relevant professional certifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Warehouse Management will be an advantage.
- 12–15 years of relevant experience in warehouse, logistics, inventory, and distribution operations.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial or senior managerial role.
- Manufacturing industry experience is preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience with ERP/WMS systems, inventory control, transportation management, and warehouse operations.
- Proven experience in managing and developing large operational teams.
- Strong understanding of warehouse KPIs, inventory accuracy, OTIF, logistics cost, space utilization, and productivity.
- Strong planning, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety, 5S, SOP compliance, and operational controls.
