About the Role

ComPsych delivers behavioral health support to members in dozens of countries, and the network and telephony behind that has to be global, reliable, and compliant by design. We're modernizing from traditional on-premise networking and carrier-by-carrier phone service into a cloud-based, automated network and a global contact center on Genesys, engineered so a member can reach us anywhere and their records land where the law requires.

This is a hands-on management role. You own the architecture and the standards, and you stay close enough to the work to design a routing plan, review a carrier contract, or automate a network change yourself. AI isn't a side project here: you use tools like Anthropic and OpenAI as a force multiplier for a lean team, generating and validating network and voice configurations, analyzing traffic and call-quality telemetry, and drafting the country compliance evidence auditors ask for. Our platform carries counseling records for millions of members, so security, privacy, and data residency are non-negotiable and are not a tax on speed.

What You'll Do

You own the architecture and strategy for global cloud networking and telecom end to end, from target-state design through how calls reach us in every country and where the resulting records live, and you're the subject-matter expert for the network and telecom side of our cloud migration. You partner with Security, Legal and Privacy, Infrastructure, and vendors, and you're accountable for connectivity that is reliable, secure, and compliant by default.

  • Own the architecture and strategy for global cloud networking and telecom. Set the target-state architecture, standards, and multi-year roadmap for the network and the Genesys contact center, and drive it into delivery.
  • Architect and run cloud networking. Design and operate cloud and hybrid networking (segmentation, connectivity, DNS, traffic inspection, and zero-trust access) across AWS and Azure, delivered as code and automated rather than manually maintained.
  • Own international telephony and telecom architecture. The global voice architecture, carrier and numbering strategy, and Genesys cloud contact center integration; own the subscriber-of-record position per market and hold vendors to clear compliance answers before buying regulated numbering.
  • Be the subject-matter expert for the network and telecom side of cloud migration. Guide data transit and connectivity, data management and residency, security, and scale as workloads and voice move to the cloud.
  • Engineer data residency and country regulatory compliance into the design. Place Genesys core and media regions and design call, recording, transcript, and failover paths so counseling records live where each country requires (for example, Mumbai for India, in-country for the UAE, Frankfurt for the European markets), with the evidence regulators and clients ask for.
  • Automate with cloud-based solutions and AI. Use Infrastructure-as-Code and automation for network and telecom changes, and use AI (Anthropic, OpenAI) as a force multiplier: generating and validating network and voice configurations, analyzing traffic and call-quality telemetry, and drafting country compliance documentation, with human review on what ships.
  • Own global security and compliance for network and voice. Least-privilege access, encryption in transit and at rest, segmentation, and monitoring across the network and contact center, aligned to the frameworks we operate under (HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR) across our domestic and international footprint.
  • Build and lead the team. Set standards, develop a lean global network and telecom team, manage budget and vendors, and report progress and risk to leadership.

What We're Looking For

  • You set architecture and strategy, not just operations. You own target-state design and multi-year roadmaps, and you're a credible cloud-migration subject-matter expert for network and telecom: data transit and connectivity, data management and residency, security, and scale.
  • You've built global cloud networking in production. Cloud and hybrid networking on AWS and/or Azure (segmentation, connectivity, DNS, zero-trust), delivered as code, not click-ops.
  • You know international telephony and telecom architecture. Carrier and numbering models, toll-free forwarding and worldwide toll-free as procurement channels, SIP and voice routing, and call quality, and you understand that the phone number is always a locally licensed resource.
  • You've integrated or operated a global cloud contact center (Genesys preferred). Core and media region placement, routing, and the difference between where audio flows and where transcripts and records live.
  • You engineer for data residency and country regulatory compliance. You can reason about where counseling records must reside and design, and prove, call, recording, transcript, and failover paths to match, across markets like India, the UAE, Brazil, and the European Union.
  • You automate, and you use AI as a force multiplier. Infrastructure-as-Code and scripting, and hands-on use of AI tools (Anthropic, OpenAI) to generate and validate network and voice configurations, analyze telemetry, and produce compliance evidence, with the judgment to check what they return.
  • You treat security and privacy as part of the work. Least-privilege, encryption, segmentation, and the frameworks we operate under (HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR). In a system that carries counseling records, “it works” and “it's safe” are the same bar.
  • You manage vendors and carriers well, and communicate clearly to engineers, legal and privacy partners, and leadership.
  • Credentials: experience leading network and/or telecom in a global, regulated environment; hands-on cloud (AWS and/or Azure); Bachelor's in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience; networking and cloud certifications a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Full benefits package, including Paid Time Off (PTO), medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, robust EAP, wellness program, and much more
  • The salary range for this position is $205,000 - $235,000 (USD). The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, and scheduled hours.
