Job description & summary

As a senior leader within PwC’s Data and AI practice in the Czech Republic, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction and scaling PwC’s Data and AI governance and risk capabilities. You will work closely with senior executives, boards, regulators, and internal PwC leadership across CEE and global markets, while leading and developing a multidisciplinary team of professionals.

You will:

  • Define and clearly articulate the vision and strategic roadmap for Data and AI governance, risk and compliance services within PwC.

  • Build, evolve, and industrialise differentiated service offerings at the intersection of AI, data governance, technology and development.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to board members, C‑suite executives, and senior leadership across industries on AI strategy, governance, and risk‑informed decision‑making.

  • Lead large, complex, and high‑impact client engagements.

  • Drive innovation by identifying trends, developments, and technological shifts, and translating them into new propositions and thought leadership.

  • Lead, coach, and scale a high‑performing team of Data and AI governance professionals, fostering expertise, thought leadership, and career development.

  • Represent PwC externally through thought leadership, executive workshops, industry forums, and selected public engagements related to responsible and trustworthy AI.

What matters to us

  • Extensive experience (typically 8+ years) in Data or AI governance, risk, technology strategy, or a closely related advisory or leadership role.

  • Proven ability to define and lead strategic initiatives, service portfolios, or practices in a professional services or large organisational environment.

  • Strong track record of engaging with senior executives, boards, and regulators on complex, high‑stakes topics related to AI, data, and digital transformation.

  • Commercial acumen and experience in business development, including shaping client demand, building long‑term relationships, and growing revenue.

  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to articulate complex topics clearly and credibly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

  • Professional fluency in English and Czech.

Why you’ll enjoy working here

  • Professional growth that matches your ambitions and pace. Gain in months the kind of experience that can take years to build elsewhere.

  • Fair pay with no gaps. We are among the few companies in the Czech Republic certified for Equal Pay.

  • A flexible benefits programme with 55,000 points to spend on what matters most to you.

  • 35 - 42 days (depending on the seniority) of paid time off, including three - five well-being days and two additional days off at the end of the year.

  • An opportunity to give back to the community with one paid volunteering day every year.

  • The chance to work from one of PwC’s international offices (available from the Senior Associate level).

  • We support your learning and development journey: We offer training in business skills (such as presentation and communication skills, assertiveness, and giving feedback) as well as digital skills (including Alteryx, Power BI, and AI). Our technical training will help you understand the full deals transaction lifecycle and how to present our findings to clients in a clear and impactful way. We also cover the cost of professional certifications, such as CFA.

  • A buddy programme, regular feedback, and access to a coach who can support your professional development and career path.

  • Extensive well-being support and initiatives promoting a healthy lifestyle, from Dr. Digital and Human Dynamic programmes to workplace yoga and running events.
