Senior IT Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior IT Engineer to manage and support the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring the availability, security, and performance of systems, networks, and end-user services. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent troubleshooting skills, and experience leading IT projects and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including Windows/Linux servers, network infrastructure, storage systems, Microsoft 365 services, endpoint security solutions, and enterprise applications.

• Install, configure, administer, and support Windows Server, Linux Server, desktop operating systems, and business-critical applications.

• Administer and manage Active Directory (AD), Group Policy Objects (GPO), DNS, DHCP, Organizational Units (OU), user and group management, password policies, account provisioning/deprovisioning, and domain services.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex Active Directory issues related to authentication, Group Policies, DNS integration, domain controllers, replication, and user access management.

• Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Identity & Access Management.

• Monitor server performance, system health, storage utilization, event logs, and infrastructure availability to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

• Configure, deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain Cisco Meraki MX Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Wireless Access Points, VLANs, Site-to-Site VPNs, Client VPNs, SD-WAN, and network security policies.

• Manage firewall configurations, access control policies, traffic analysis, content filtering, network segmentation, and secure remote access solutions.

• Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless networking, DNS, DHCP, internet connectivity, routing, switching, and firewall-related issues.

• Implement and maintain IT security controls, including endpoint protection, patch management, access control, vulnerability remediation, and security hardening.

• Administer and manage Seqrite EPS and Trellix ePO environments, including endpoint protection, policy management, agent deployment, threat detection, malware remediation, web control, device control, DLP, compliance reporting, and security incident response.

• Perform vulnerability assessments, security audits, risk analysis, security monitoring, and remediation activities to improve the organization's cybersecurity posture.

• Monitor and respond to security incidents, investigate threats, and coordinate corrective actions to reduce security risks.

• Manage operating system updates, security patches, antivirus deployments, software installations, and endpoint compliance across Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.

• Perform regular system backups, disaster recovery testing, data restoration activities, and business continuity planning.

• Lead infrastructure upgrades, server migrations, software deployments, network enhancements, and technology implementation projects.

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support and resolve complex hardware, software, server, networking, security, and Microsoft 365 issues.

• Manage IT asset inventory, software licensing, warranty tracking, procurement activities, and vendor coordination.

• Develop and maintain IT documentation, SOPs, network diagrams, technical procedures, security documentation, and asset records.

• Coordinate with vendors, service providers, auditors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth IT operations and project delivery.

• Support ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance initiatives, including audit preparation, evidence collection, policy reviews, risk assessments, corrective action tracking, and compliance reporting.

• Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies, security standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

• Participate in internal and external audits and assist in implementing audit recommendations and security improvements.

• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support knowledge-sharing initiatives within the IT team.

• Demonstrate excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve critical infrastructure, networking, security, and system-related issues efficiently.
