GEICO is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Internal Security Investigator (SIU) to join our Special Investigations Unit. This role is responsible for conducting complex investigations involving suspected insurance fraud, gathering and analyzing evidence, interviewing involved parties, and collaborating with internal and external partners to support fraud detection and prevention efforts.

Successful candidates will possess strong analytical skills, be dependable, have a growth mindset, a friendly demeanor, sound judgment, and a commitment to integrity and professionalism. Compensation is based on location and experience.

Schedule will be M-F 8-430 PM. This is a hybrid position.

Qualifications

  • SIU experience is preferred (not required)
  • Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information
  • Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Must be able to handle heavy claim volume and stressful situations.


 

Annual Salary

$29.51 - $57.49

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
