Purchase Management
- Procure medical consumables, pharmaceuticals, surgical items, implants, equipment, and general supplies as per hospital requirements.
- Float inquiries, obtain quotations, perform comparative analysis, and negotiate with vendors.
- Generate Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely deliveries.
- Develop and maintain relationships with approved vendors and suppliers.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with hospital policies and budget guidelines.
- Monitor pending orders and follow up with suppliers for timely material receipt.
Store & Inventory Management
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery challans.
- Ensure proper storage and preservation of inventory as per standard protocols.
- Monitor stock levels and maintain minimum, maximum, and reorder quantities.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and physical stock verification.
- Track batch numbers, expiry dates, and slow/non-moving inventory.
- Ensure proper documentation of material receipt, issue, transfer, and return.
Logistics & Distribution
- Coordinate with departments for timely material issuance.
- Ensure uninterrupted supply of critical medical and non-medical items.
- Manage inter-departmental stock transfers and inventory movement.
Vendor Management
- Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
- Maintain vendor database and related documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors for replacement, warranty claims, and discrepancy resolution.
