Embedded security software development team focuses on building secure, reliable firmware and security features that protect devices against modern cyber threats. The role includes developing secure boot and update mechanisms, integrating cryptography, supporting hardware‑based security, and ensuring products meet industry security standards. Engineers collaborate across teams to define security requirements, analyze risks, and implement robust protections throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities – What We Do

  • Develop and validate embedded security runtime software (security drivers, middleware, applications, etc.) for ARM‑based microcontrollers
  • Debug complex issues and contribute to robust, secure solutions
  • Follow industry security standards and best practices for high‑quality software development
  • Implement security drivers and middleware for Rust Embassy framework

 Technical Knowledge – What You Bring

To thrive in this role, you should bring:

  • Strong hands-on experience in embedded software development using C, with a passion for developing software close to the hardware.

  • Interest in embedded security technologies and a continuous-learning mindset toward emerging security standards, architectures, and best practices; experience with security technologies such as Mbed TLS, PSA Crypto API, and SPDM is an advantage.

  • Solid understanding of ARM Cortex-M microcontroller architectures and embedded system fundamentals; experience with RISC-V is an advantage.

  • Proven experience developing software for Bare-Metal, FreeRTOS, and/or Zephyr RTOS environments.

  • Knowledge of Rust for embedded systems is a plus, including familiarity with the Embassy framework and/or Tock OS.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to debug and troubleshoot embedded targets, low-level software, and complex hardware/software integration issues.

  • Experience with Git, code review processes, and modern software development workflows, including CI/CD practices.

  • Good understanding of software engineering best practices, including secure coding, testing methodologies, static analysis, and code quality assurance.

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

  • Familiarity with embedded security standards and certification schemes such as SESIP and PSA Certified is an advantage.

It’s a plus if you also have experience with:

  • Familiarity with standard software development workflows, processes, and best practices.
