Love Revit, complex buildings and getting the details right?

We're looking for an experienced Senior Documentation Architect to join Hassell's Brisbane studio, working on a major public infrastructure project.

This role is suited to someone who enjoys the technical side of architecture — producing high-quality documentation, resolving complex details and working with Revit to bring large building projects together.

You'll be part of an experienced project team, working closely with Architects, Designers and consultants to deliver accurate, coordinated and technically resolved architectural documentation.

About the role

This is a hands-on documentation and technical delivery role, where your Revit expertise and understanding of how complex buildings come together will be highly valued.

You'll be responsible for:

• Developing and producing detailed architectural documentation using Revit.

• Taking ownership of documentation packages through design development and construction documentation stages.

• Coordinating architectural models and drawings with structural, services and specialist consultants.

• Developing and resolving architectural details and building interfaces.

• Identifying and addressing documentation and coordination issues.

• Maintaining high standards of model quality, accuracy and consistency.

• Working collaboratively with the wider project team to meet documentation and programme requirements.

• Sharing your technical knowledge and supporting other team members.

Qualifications

About you

You'll bring strong architectural documentation experience, advanced Revit capability and a genuine interest in technical project delivery.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Significant experience producing architectural documentation for large, complex building projects.

• Advanced Revit skills and recent hands-on experience developing detailed project documentation.

• Strong architectural detailing skills and an understanding of construction methods.

• Experience coordinating models and documentation across multiple disciplines.

• Experience working on hospitals, airports, transport buildings, stadiums, laboratories, major commercial buildings or similar projects.

• Confidence working independently on documentation packages while collaborating with a wider team.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve technical issues.

You might currently be a Senior Architect, Documentation Architect, Project Architect, Senior Architectural Technician or Architectural Designer.
