Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure)

You will join our Data & AI delivery teams and act as the backbone of our cloud operations — designing, automating and hardening the Azure environments that host mission-critical AI and fintech platforms for banks, insurers and industrial groups. You'll work closely with solution architects, data engineers and client stakeholders,

Your responsibilities will entail:

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AI and fintech applications running on Microsoft Azure
• Own infrastructure-as-code (Terraform / ARM / Bicep) across development, staging and production environments
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting to keep client-facing platforms reliable and secure
• Manage containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS) supporting AI model deployment and data pipelines
• Work directly with client technical teams during delivery, ensuring security, performance and compliance standards are met
• Collaborate with architects and data engineers to translate solution designs into resilient, automated environments
• Contribute to internal DevOps standards, tooling and best practices across Quento's project portfolio
• Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.

• University degree in IT or related field
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on DevOps experience, with strong depth in Microsoft Azure (AKS, Azure DevOps, App Services, Azure Functions, Networking, Key Vault)
• Proven track record building CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or similar)
• Infrastructure-as-code expertise (Terraform, ARM templates or Bicep)
• Solid scripting ability (PowerShell, Python or Bash)
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Working knowledge of monitoring and observability tooling (Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus or equivalent)
• Exposure to AI/ML or data platform environments (Databricks, ML pipelines, data lakes) is a strong plus
• Familiarity with security and compliance requirements typical of financial services clients
• Azure certification (AZ-400, AZ-104 or similar) is a plus
• Comfortable engaging directly with clients and presenting technical solutions clearly
• Strong ownership mentality — you see problems through to resolution
• Able to work across multiple concurrent projects and shifting priorities
• Collaborative, calm under pressure, and precise in high-stakes delivery environments
• Fluent in English; Greek is a strong advantage given our client base
