We are seeking a skilled Python Developer with AWS expertise to support our Life Sciences and Healthcare clients, specifically within the pharmaceutical sector. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and optimizing digital solutions that enhance business processes and compliance within the pharma industry. You will play a key role in building scalable, secure, and high-performing applications that drive innovation and efficiency for our clients.
Detailed Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy robust Python applications tailored for pharmaceutical industry requirements.
- Architect and manage cloud-based solutions on AWS, ensuring high availability, security, and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, QA, and DevOps, to deliver integrated solutions.
- Develop and maintain APIs and microservices for seamless integration with third-party systems and internal platforms.
- Implement automation scripts and data pipelines to support bioinformatics, clinical trials, and regulatory reporting workflows.
- Monitor and optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution of incidents.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to best practices, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, AWS services, and Python advancements relevant to the pharma sector.
Skill Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing with Python in enterprise environments.
- Proven expertise in deploying and managing applications using AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS).
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry processes, regulations (such as GxP, 21 CFR Part 11), and data privacy requirements.
- Experience with RESTful API development, containerization (Docker), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficient in SQL/NoSQL databases and data processing frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
