Are you an accounting professional who enjoys combining financial expertise, problem-solving, and process improvement? We're looking for a Senior Accountant to play a key role in managing the company's cash position, supporting liquidity planning, and ensuring accurate treasury and cash accounting.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with Accounting, Treasury, Finance, and banking partners while helping to optimize cash management processes across a complex, multi-entity organization. You'll be trusted to manage critical daily cash activities, support financial reporting, improve controls, and contribute to strategic initiatives that strengthen the company's financial operations.

What You'll Do
Cash Management & Treasury Operations
- Manage daily cash positioning activities across multiple bank accounts and legal entities.
- Monitor banking activity and account balances to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely issue resolution.
- Prepare and communicate daily cash and liquidity reports, highlighting trends, risks, and funding needs.
- Execute approved cash transactions, including wire transfers, ACH payments, funding activities, and investments.
- Support short-term and long-term cash flow forecasting through trend analysis and reporting.
- Serve as a key contact for internal business partners and external banking relationships.
- Investigate and resolve complex banking and cash management issues while ensuring compliance with company policies.
Credit & Lending Administration
- Support and reconcile activity related to credit facilities, revolving lines of credit, and loan agreements.
- Ensure payments, fees, and contractual obligations are completed accurately and on time.
- Calculate and record interest expense and related debt activity.
- Partner with Treasury and Accounting teams to maintain accurate debt reporting and compliance.
Accounting, Month-End Close & Financial Reporting
- Prepare and review journal entries related to cash, debt, interest, and treasury transactions.
- Perform account reconciliations and balance sheet analyses for cash and debt-related accounts.
- Lead cash and treasury-related month-end close activities and ensure deadlines are met.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting requirements.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, schedules, and responding to inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Help identify control enhancements and improve treasury-related accounting processes.
Process Improvement & Systems Enhancement
- Identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and improve cash management and reconciliation processes.
- Support ERP and treasury system enhancements, upgrades, and implementation activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on initiatives related to automation, reporting, controls, and liquidity management.
- Document and standardize key treasury and banking procedures to promote consistency and efficiency.
- Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues while serving as a subject matter expert for cash management processes.

What We're Looking For
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
Experience
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, treasury, cash management, or a related finance function.
- Experience working within large, complex organizations preferred.
- Background supporting multi-entity operations and banking environments is highly valued.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools required.
- Oracle, M3, Adage, or similar ERP experience preferred.
- Prior participation in system implementations, automation projects, or process redesign initiatives is a plus.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of cash management, treasury operations, banking practices, GAAP, and internal controls.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, Power Query, and financial analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter who takes ownership and drives projects to completion.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Comfortable influencing decisions and providing guidance on complex financial matters.
