Senior Commercial Banking Portfolio Coordinator

In this role, you will:

• Review complex credit information of loans for companies and industries
• Provide support to the Commercial Banking Portfolio Management team and more experienced individuals in the credit approval process
• Perform complex credit investigations on companies and industries
• Utilize knowledge and interpretation of procedures to direct less experienced individuals
• Interact with immediate team and Commercial Banking Portfolio Management functional area to review process of companies for providing credits

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of financial analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree (Commerce Mandatory), equivalent background
• Excellent knowledge of MS office applications primarily MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong knowledge on accounting and finance, Industry analysis, Internal and external credit risk factors of the borrower  
• Strong analytical skills, Quick Learner & Attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Should be flexible to stretch as per business requirement
• Able to multi-task to accomplish tasks effectively.
• Ability to work quickly & accurately while maintaining acceptable standards of workmanship
• Ability to recognize and escalate to management for any process breaches
• Highly motivated with strong organizational
• Flexibility to work in different shifts
• Stakeholders/Client management
• Ability to succeed in a team environment

Job Expectations:

• Should be flexible in switching roles in between Processors/DSO/QC at any point of time during the day/months as per business requirement
• Should be flexible in taking on additional responsibilities and ensure smooth execution without compromising on quality and timelines
• Facilitates communication to resolve problems and advance strategies.   
• customer service, loan administration, collections, or sales environment support experience       
• Make a significant contribution toward achieving team goals through knowledge and skills.
• Lead or champion efforts to increase productivity and goal accomplishment.
• Act as a coach or mentor to facilitate learning from experience depending on requirement
• Support in performing a variety of loan documentation duties on moderately complex loans to ensure compliance with company's policies and procedures for loan products
• Perform loan documentation for moderately complex loans
• Process and close for loan products
• Interpret Loan Documentation policies while analysing applicant, property, and documentation, ordering all required verifications, documentation, and subsequent follow ups
• Receive direction from Loan Documentation supervisor and escalate non-routine questions
• Manage an assigned pipeline of loans and provide guidance and training to other Loan Documentation individuals
• Interact with immediate Loan Documentation team and functional area on routine process
