As a member of our BILLA CEE team, you will make a significant contribution to the success of our international stores by advising the country organizations.

We are currently looking for an experienced, strategically minded, professional in the area of Category Management & Buying of  Fruit & Vegetables (m/f/d).

Job Description

• Be a part of a multi-member international Category Management team.
• Steer and manage daily business operations while ensuring achievement of commercial targets.
• Contribute to the strategic direction and development of the respective category.
• Conduct ongoing market and competitor analyses and derive actionable business measures.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and strategic agreements with suppliers.
• Collaborate with local and international stakeholders.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in operational Category Management within Retail, Trading or FMCG environments and minimum 3 years of Category Management experience in Fruit & Vegetables (mandatory).
• Experience in the categories Bananas, Pineapple, other oversees goods is a strong advantage. 
• Strong strategic mindset, excellent commercial acumen, extensive experience with KPIs, market analysis, and assortment planning.
• Advanced MS Excel skills and structured working style.
• Excellent English skills (C1); German (B1-B2) is an advantage 
• Willingness to work occasionally on weekends, Travel internationally.

• An industry-standard, attractive and performance based annual gross salary starting at 55.000 Euro (on a full-time basis) with the possibility of higher pay according to experience and qualifications.
