Supporting internal and external business partners functionally drive the business towards its strategic agenda and tactical execution. Responsible for reviewing drawings, quoting, cost savings, identifying suppliers, negotiating costs and terms, overseeing and maintaining proper inventory levels and material delivery to support production requirements on time. Research, analyze, and forecast current and future buying trends utilizing SAP. Accurately maintain system data. Develop and maintain relationships with responsible vendor base. Assess financial risks of purchases. Reduce cost of material and operations within the supply chain with a strong focus on suppliers and supporting the business to meet goals and measure KPI’s.
