Senior BIM Coordinator

• Manage and maintain federated BIM models across all project disciplines.
  
• Lead clash detection and resolution activities, track issues, and coordinate corrective actions.
  
• Facilitate multidisciplinary BIM coordination between design consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
  
• Support 4D construction sequencing and model-based construction planning throughout the project lifecycle.
  
• Provide technical guidance and BIM support to project teams during both design and construction phases.
  
• Ensure BIM deliverables meet project standards, quality requirements, and coordination objectives.
  
• Participate in coordination meetings and communicate model updates, issues, and resolutions.
  
• Conduct regular site visits to Napanee, Ontario (1-2 days per week) to support field coordination, validate model accuracy, and resolve construction-related issues.
  

Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of experience as a BIM Coordinator on building, industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
  
• Strong knowledge of building construction methods, construction sequencing, and multidisciplinary coordination processes.
  
• Proven experience managing federated models, conducting clash detection, and coordinating model issue resolution across multiple disciplines.
  
• Advanced proficiency with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D, and Autodesk Forma.
  
• Experience using Synchro 4D and/or Fuzor for 4D planning, construction sequencing, and schedule visualization.
  
• Familiarity with 4D and 5D BIM workflows, construction planning, and digital project delivery.
  
• Strong understanding of BIM standards, model quality control, and BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
  
• Ability to work independently with a high level of autonomy, while effectively supporting project teams and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  
• Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  

• Experienced BIM/VDC professional with strong expertise in multidisciplinary coordination, federated model management, clash detection, and digital coordination tools.
  
• Demonstrates a high level of autonomy in managing assignments and making technical decisions.
  
• Able to support project teams, facilitate coordination meetings, resolve technical challenges, and contribute to 4D planning initiatives.
  
• Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and collaborative skills.
