About this role
Overview
We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to build and enhance backend services for a large-scale media streaming platform. You'll work with a global engineering team on video streaming technologies, encoding workflows, and server-side advertising solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend services for media streaming applications.
- Work with AWS services to support scalable streaming solutions.
- Implement and maintain video encoding workflows.
- Develop and optimize server-side ad insertion (SSAI) capabilities.
- Integrate and work with AWS MediaTailor.
- Collaborate with engineers to build reliable and scalable backend solutions.
Qualifications
Must Have
- Strong backend development experience.
- Experience with backend video streaming.
- Hands-on experience with AWS.
- Experience with AWS MediaTailor.
- Experience with video encoding workflows.
- Experience with Server-Side Ad Insertion (SSAI).
- Understanding of ad technology.
Nice to Have
- Experience building large-scale media streaming platforms.
